Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome.

The ecstasy of success, the agony of defeat!
We’re totally done with the recording, mixing, and now mastering of our new album- The Bubble Has Burst in Sky City. Unfortunately we’ve had some technical difficulties with the artwork and layout for the CD, so we’ve had to push back the release date. We’re still sorting things out, and don’t have a firm date yet, but we’re shooting for August. More details on this as they develop.
In the meantime, may we recommend acquainting yourself with Noise Pollution, who will be putting out the new album. They’ve also released a split 7” with us and VRKTM, as well as CDs by a couple bands that contain Pineapple alumni (Tyrone and The Teeth, if you were wondering), plus a whole lot of other great Louisville stuff.
As the above flyer (by the wonderful Jessica Faulkner) indicates, we’re throwing a drag party this Saturday at the Rudyard Kipling. We got the idea from our friend Salena (of all these things and more) who suggested that if we couldn’t release our CD on the 28th that we at least keep the “CD” theme, only change it from “Compact Discs” to “Cross Dressers”. Everybody is of course welcome, but anyone in drag gets in cheaper. Complete details for the show can be found on the Shows page, along with a few other upcoming events.
As always, correspondence is welcome and encouraged, be it to get on our soon-to-be-used-more-often-mailing-list, to send us a funny or unusual picture of a pineapple, to share a heartwarming story of how our music brought you back together with your childhood dentist, or to ask us to stop indoctrinating the youth into our hedonistic culture of weird music, as it would be kind of funny to get an email that said that.
